Family Counseling

Something Has to Change — And You Both Know It

Maybe you keep having the same argument. Maybe the distance between you has grown so slowly that you barely noticed until one day it felt enormous. Maybe things aren't terrible, but they're not what you wanted either — and you're starting to wonder if they ever will be.

Whatever brought you here, the fact that you're here together matters. Couples counseling is not a last resort. It's a decision to stop hoping things improve on their own and actually do something about it.

How I Work With Couples

I'll be straightforward with you: couples counseling is some of the most challenging and most rewarding work I do. It requires me to hold space for two people with different histories, different needs, and different ways of seeing the same moment — while keeping both of you moving forward at the same time.

I am not a passive therapist in the room with individuals, and I am not a passive therapist in the room with couples. Sessions are structured, purposeful, and active. We are not here to vent at each other in a supervised setting. We are here to understand what's actually happening between you — and to change it.
