Private-Pay Intensive Therapy

When your mind won't slow down, you don't have to handle it alone.

Anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, constant worry, tension, irritability, avoidance, difficulty sleeping, overthinking, or feeling like your body is always braced for something to go wrong. Therapy can help you better understand the pattern and build a different relationship with it.

Mind + body support

Depending on your therapist and goals, anxiety work may include cognitive, mindfulness-based, somatic, grounding, and nervous-system regulation strategies.

When this may help

Support for what is getting in the way.

01

Constant overthinking

Replaying conversations, anticipating problems, second-guessing decisions, or finding it difficult to mentally switch off.

02

Physical tension and hyperarousal

Feeling restless, on edge, tight in your body, easily startled, emotionally flooded, or unable to fully settle.

03

Avoidance and shrinking your life

Anxiety can gradually influence where you go, what you attempt, how you relate to others, and what you believe you can handle.

Our approach

The goal isn't to never feel anxious again.

Anxiety is part of being human. Therapy can help reduce the degree to which anxiety controls your choices by increasing awareness, building coping and regulation skills, and helping you respond more intentionally to thoughts, feelings, and uncertainty.

1

Map your anxiety pattern

Identify triggers, thoughts, body sensations, behaviors, avoidance patterns, and the situations in which anxiety becomes most disruptive.

2

Practice regulation and coping skills

Build strategies that may include grounding, mindfulness, cognitive tools, somatic awareness, breathing practices, and nervous-system regulation.

3

Build confidence through new responses

Work toward tolerating uncertainty, changing unhelpful patterns, and making choices based more on your values and goals than on fear.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

What types of anxiety do you work with?

Serenity clinicians support adults experiencing anxiety, stress, worry, emotional overwhelm, and related concerns. Your therapist will assess your individual needs and discuss whether their scope and approach are appropriate for you.

Will therapy make anxiety go away completely?

Therapy cannot promise the complete elimination of anxiety. The goal is to help you understand it, reduce its interference, and develop healthier, more flexible ways of responding.

What approaches may be used for anxiety?

Depending on the clinician, care may draw from CBT, mindfulness-based therapy, DBT skills, somatic strategies, grounding, and nervous-system regulation.

Can anxiety therapy be virtual?

Yes. Telehealth therapy is available to eligible clients in Florida and North Carolina, depending on clinician licensure and availability.
