Private-Pay Intensive Therapy

More time for the conversations that don't fit neatly into 50 minutes.

Some therapeutic work benefits from a longer runway. Serenity's intensive sessions are designed for clients who want focused, private-pay therapy with additional time to settle in, work deeply, and bring the session to a more intentional close.

90-minute sessions

Serenity currently offers 90-minute individual intensives and a six-week Couples Intensive option. Intensive sessions are private pay and are not billed to insurance.

When this may help

Support for what is getting in the way.

01

You regularly feel cut off by the clock

You may spend much of a standard session getting oriented, only to reach the most important material as time is running out.

02

You want focused work around a specific issue

A longer format can create room to explore a defined concern, relationship pattern, transition, or therapeutic goal in greater depth.

03

Couples need more room in the conversation

With two people in the room, it can take longer to understand each perspective, slow down conflict, practice repair, and complete the work of the session.

Our approach

An intensive is not simply a longer standard appointment.

The additional time should have a purpose. Serenity uses the longer format to create more space for assessment, focused therapeutic work, skills practice, reflection, and integration. Your therapist can help determine whether an intensive or standard session format is more appropriate.

Note: Pricing and the six-week program are based on Serenity's current public service information.
1

Start with a consultation

Discuss what you are hoping to work on, your current situation, and whether the intensive format is a good fit.

2

Define the focus

Clarify the goal for the session or program so the additional time is used intentionally rather than simply extending conversation.

3

Do the work and integrate

Use the longer session for focused therapeutic work and leave time to process what emerged, identify takeaways, and discuss next steps.
